Cowork Brighton is thrilled to partner with A Wilde Theatre
Where Anything Can Happen!
A Wilde Theatre (AWT) – Cowork Brighton’s newest partner, is the newest live, professional theatre in Livingston County and is located in the heart of downtown Brighton. AWT is the home to classic plays, small cast musicals, and dramas in an intimate and always-evolving space. The plays are meant to entertain, inspire, and encourage laughter in the audience.
For a schedule of events and to order tickets, visit A Wild Theatre. If you don’t want to miss out, make sure to buy tickets early! Also, Concessions are available before the shows and during intermissions – enjoy fresh coffee, pop, water, chips, and candy during the performances.
Now, for a little background on the AWT owner, Lynn Wilde Concannon. Lynn has worked in professional theatre for over 20 years and brings an impressive resume of experience to the theatre. Here are a few of her career highlights:
- The Purple Rose Theatre Co., which actor Jeff Daniels founded, for about 13 years
- Tipping Point Theatre in Northville for about 8 years
- She currently serves as the board president of Pinckney Players Theater Group, a title she has held for more than 20 years
Lynn is building an amazing community for both actors and theatre lovers. AWT provides professional hands-on training and theatre experience for actors and brings culture and art to Livingston County.
Between shows, the theatre is available for rent to host events such as baby/bridal showers, birthday parties, holiday parties, conferences, etc. Cowork Brighton has already sponsored an event at A Wilde Theater. Specifically, they hosted the Brighton Professionals and Entrepreneurs (BP&E) group for networking and speaker presentation. It was a fantastic location!
In addition to hosting the event there, all three Cowork Brighton owners (Jen, Marianne & Clark) were able to see a recent production of Looking at the AWT. The show was amazing! We highly recommend checking out their website to what shows are coming up!
