Meet a Cowork Brighton co-owner, Marianne Grima.

Marianne grew up in Michigan and has lived in downtown Brighton since she moved back from Washington, D.C. in 2019. She loves being able to walk to the shops and restaurants on Main Street. She is so excited to be a Cowork Brighton co-owner and loves that the coworking space is in the heart of our beautiful downtown.

Marianne graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s degree in Intelligence Analysis.

Right out of college, Marianne joined a global consulting firm as a Cyber Security consultant. During the day, she supported commercial and federal clients. Outside of work hours, Marianne supported local and international non-profits with pro bono consulting.

Recently, Marianne was able to shift to an internal role. She now helps coordinate her company’s social impact and pro bono efforts full-time.

After moving back to Michigan, Marianne began working from home full-time (she was a pro by the time the pandemic hit).

While “co-working” with her sister and brother-in-law in a small office, the concept of Cowork Brighton emerged. The idea of creating a space for local professionals and entrepreneurs to work, network, and develop business skillsets was an exciting endeavor.

As one of the members of the Cowork Brighton team and after months of renovations and preparation, she looks forward to building up the Cowork Brighton community!
